Freshness in colour perspective has been created by the change of ‘jackets’ between the bright red sand-dune and the deep green camel-thorn-tree (Acacia giraffe).
I have painted this dune before in its beautiful natural lively red. But being a dominant red, the dune kept on falling out of the picture frame, while the wind-swept shape of the sand-dune strongly enough shouts: “DUNE” - thus creating a more pleasant perspective! |
